This chair didn’t exist – so we built it
We travelled the world, testing 182 recliner cinema seats from 49 suppliers across 22 countries to engineer the perfect recliner chair. Drawing inspiration from automotive design, first-class airline cabins, and even massage chair technology, we built this recliner chair from scratch using best-in-class global components to deliver a superior entertainment experience.
Built with recycled materials, the Cineworld recliner is taller and wider than the industry standard – ergonomically designed for hours of sustained comfort. Every element, from its geometry and motion system to the softness of its cushioning, is precision-engineered to create a feeling of weightlessness.
The chair holds you – then lets go. The seat disappears, and the film takes over.
